Modified on Thu, 6 Feb at 2:20 PM

Welcome to Round 1 of the OPEN SuperApp competition! This is your chance to introduce yourself, showcase your talent, and start connecting with music fans and fellow artists. Follow these steps carefully to ensure you're on track for success in the Audition Round!

Step 1: Create an Account on OPEN SuperApp

If you haven’t already, start by creating your account on the OPEN SuperApp. This is where you'll manage your audition and future events throughout the competition.

Step 2: Share a Short Bio and a Photo on the Discover Tab

Once your account is set up, head over to the Discover tab and tap the "+" then tap "Create Post". Here, you'll introduce yourself to the community:

  • Upload a photo: Choose a photo that represents you and your music style.
  • Write a short bio: Share a little about yourself, your musical journey, and what inspires you. This will help fellow artists and fans get to know you better.

Step 3: Set Up Your Fan Club by Creating an Event

Now it's time to create your event! This step will help you build your fanbase and keep them engaged throughout the competition.

  1. Click on the “Create Event” button.
  2. Fill in all the necessary fields to successfully set up your event. Be sure to complete every field, as missing information may prevent your event from being created properly.
  3. Location: Feel free to use your local city for the location.
  4. Event End Date: Set the event end date to April 30th. This is important so that your fans can participate in the competition and vote for you during the entire process!

Step 4: Post Your Audition on the Spaces Tab

Next, you’ll need to share your audition submission.

  1. Go to the Spaces tab on the app.
  2. Click on Upload Video to submit your audition.
  3. Audition Requirements: Your audition must be an original song. This is your moment to shine with your unique music!

Tips for Success:

  • Fill out all fields when creating your event: Incomplete details may cause delays or issues with your event.
  • Choose a compelling photo: This is your first impression, so make it count!
  • Set your event end date to April 30th: This ensures your event is properly synced with the competition timeline.
  • Upload an original song: No covers allowed—make sure your submission is your own creation!
