How to Set Up a Fan Club (Event Feature) on OPEN SuperApp: A Step-by-Step Guide

Setting up Fan Club allows you to promote and connect with your fans and build community to gain more votes and engagement during and after OPEN Verse. Fan Clubs are all set up through our Event Tool on the OPEN SuperApp. 

Step 1: Download and Install OPEN SuperApp

Before you can set up an event, you'll need to download and install OPEN SuperApp on your device.

1. Download the App:

   • Go to the App Store (for iOS devices) or Google Play Store (for Android devices).
   • Search for "OPEN SuperApp" and tap on the Install or Get button to download the app.

2. Create or Log In to Your Account:

   • Once the app is installed, open it.
   • If you’re a new user, create an account by entering your email address or phone number and a secure password.
   • If you already have an account, simply log in using your credentials.

Step 2: Navigate to the Event Creation Section

1. Click the "+" in the lower right-hand corner and Select "Create Event":

   • After logging in, you’ll be taken to our Discover Section, tap or click on the "Create Event" button.
   • This will take you to the event creation section where you can input all the relevant details about your event/Fan Club.

Step 3: Fill in Fan Club Information

Now, it’s time to provide all the necessary details for your event. Here’s what you’ll need to fill out:

1. Fan Club Name

2. Fan Club Date and Time:

   • This can be set for the dates of the OPEN Verse Contest

3. Fan Club Location:

   • Fan Clubs are virtual communities, so no location is necessary, or type "Virtual" 

4. Fan Club Description:

   • Write a brief description about you and why you want to win OPEN Verse 2. 

5. Event Categories/Tags

Step 4: Customize Your Fan Club

1. Fan Club Image or Banner:

   • Upload a cover image or banner that represents your Fan Club. 

2. RSVP and Registration Settings:

   • This should be a free, public event to ensure all your fans can join! 

Step 5: Access your Fan Club Chat

1. Fan Club Chat:

   • All Events automatically create a group chat on the OPEN SuperApp, to allow all fans who RSVP to communicate with each other. We recommend introducing yourself in the Fan Club Chat and pinning the message so new fans know how you want them to interact in the group chat. 
   • Pin your chat message by long pressing on your message and tap "Pin Message".

Step 6: Promote Your Fan Club

1. Social Media Sharing:

   • OPEN SuperApp provides an easy way to share your event on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Click the "..." in the upper right hand corner of your Fan Club Event and tap the “Share” button. Select the platform where you want to promote your Fan Club or copy a link to share.
